Bill graduated Bradley University with a BSME and moved to the Chicago area to start work with Continental Can Co., then one of the top fifty companies in the USA.  His career there took him into the Plastics Industry which led to his specialty niche of fluid heat transfer.  Over the next forty years Bill was involved in the design, manufacture and application of systems for a wide variety of  technologies from bar soap plodding to laser material processing and organizations including Aerospace, Academic, Automotive, and various U S Government facilities.  

Sandy left a budding career in the medical field to join United Airlines, initially as a "Stewardess", then as an instructor at the UAL Headquarters in Chicago and later in Seattle as a Supervisor.  Those were the good old days when if a Stewardess of any level got married they left flight status so Sandy then became a Passenger Service Representative at Chicago's O'Hare Airport where she was the escort for visiting Dignitaries and Celebrities.

Greenville has been their home since August of 1980 and both are active in church, civic and volunteer activities.
